About Me
A little bit about me…

I am a watercolour artist and a photographer based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, and I create my paintings in my home studio nestled between the beach and the edge of Brisbane Water National Park. I get constant inspiration from the lush landscapes I am surrounded by. I have also been lucky to have visited many beautiful and wild places both in Australia and overseas.

I love painting from my imagination, creating my own worlds in watercolour, and a lot of my inspiration comes from my memories of the vistas I have witnessed on my travels as well as the landscapes of my coastal home.

I use my work to explore my relationship with the landscape and the feelings of peaceful solitude and contemplative awe. I carry these emotions when I am surrounded by beautiful scenery, and it is what I seek to express in my paintings. Watercolour lends itself perfectly to this task due to its ethereal and delicate nature. Over the years I have experimented with various painting mediums until I knew that nothing else keeps me as mesmerised and enchanted as watercolours do – every time I paint with watercolours, I feel like I enter a different world that is full of wonder and joy..

What INSPIRES ME

Wide open spaces. Big skies. Tall mountains. Birds soaring high above it all. Waves crushing on the shore. The quietness and stillness you feel when you are watching the sun set.
